Meet Dr John Jo
I was born in South Korea and grew up in New Zealand from the age of 7. Since moving to Queensland in 2011, I’ve been proud to call it home and serve the local community as a dentist.
With over 15 years of experience across Hervey Bay and Brisbane, I’ve developed a strong focus on providing gentle, personalised care that puts patients at ease.
What I enjoy most about dentistry is building long-term relationships with my patients. I understand that many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist, and I take extra care to ensure every visit is calm, comfortable, and at your pace.
Over time, I get to understand each person’s preferences, concerns, and goals — allowing me to provide care that is tailored, supportive, and reassuring.
My approach is simple: no pressure, no judgement, and clear, honest advice so you can feel confident about your dental health.
